The third volume of the Gakkou Gurashi! (がっこうぐらし!) manga. It was released on December 12, 2013 in Japanese and on May 24, 2016 in English.
Volume Synopsis[]
A new character is introduced, Miki Naoki! Miki felt that something was wrong with Yuki and wanted to investigate. This had caused many conflicts between her and the others. Because of this, Yuki wanted to run a sports festival and they do so. Another day during breakfast, Miki goes out to search for a book. Being unable to find it, she then tells them that she has to go to the restroom. Yuki tags along and along the way, Miki began to confront Yuki that was faking her cheerfulness. Yuki explains and manages to consoles Miki and the two became friends from this point forward. Taromaru, an unfortunate, infected puppy, was introduced as well. Unfortunately, he was tossed out from bite marks but managed to return back to the school. Afterwards, Miki ventures through Megumi's documents, books, and diary. Looking through, the emergency response document falls out and she reports her findings to Rii-san and Kurumi. Kurumi decides to run a quick check through the basement... results ended very poorly as she was attacked from a familiar-looking zombie that was in the basement.
